In case you have not noticed, the splitters are sending work...
Eric went looking this morning to see what might be causing that. Ready to send is increasing and work in progress is increasing. The side positive benefit is the stalled workunits have had time to get resent and are starting to clear... My pending credit is decreasing.
So along with Joes comments, we should not have a dry weekend.
So far, there have been 512 WUs at ar=1.393, then 1024 at 0.84, and then 512 more at 1.363. So 2048 WUs gives 6144 initial replication results, host queues have been refilling so the server status shows 2049 "ready to send" as of a few minutes ago. Seems to be moderately noisy data and of course those VHARs don't take long anyhow, but the two splitters seem to be getting ahead of demand. Joe |

Good morning Beta.
Isn't the credit calculated a bit on the "high" side for that VHAR wus ?
(example: 37.4x -> 20cr/h, 16.04 -> 27.5cr/h)

I've been getting that since Enhanced started, on main site I'm doing AR=1.1 in 15 mins for 12.5 cr, 50/hr and ar=0.42, 62.4cr in 1:45, ~36/hr. Thats using the optimised app but the ratio was similar here with standard app.
I've got some short units here,but not started crunching yet.

Okay the few new AP's that were release have a couple of different Angle Ranges (AR) I have two running one with 1.3 and one with .84
I would attempt capture the result files but will be away until Sunday evening. So will see what can be done as I get back.

One of the nice that that happened ages ago was there is a field added to the database that tells C/H, which makes it simpler for Eric to run a query to get a better idea of what is happening... Every now and then I put in a subtle plug for Eric to get that displayed to the User...

Hi Al,
This would be nice here, but I'm not sure about on main. I know it wouldn't matter to the project, since someone would crunch the units regardless, but we might start seeing more "aborted by user" errors.
BTW, I've changed my sig here to be similar to Main. I have a link to the Enhanced FAQ in it.

Viewing the cr/time with the AR's we are now doing I am getting large variations.
But if Eric is going to adjust chirps to increase sensitivity and therefore increase crunch times do we need to hold off on adjustment of the ar/cr curve until then.

Splitters are running again, beam 5 this time and 3K new Wus so far. Angle ranges will be very close to last weekend's run of course since that was beam 6 of the same data set. Joe |
