That's probably best as general settings. If people are willing to deselect SETI@home v7 for a week or two it would probably speed up the Astropulse v6 testing.

i dont have v7 selected (in my preferences). but since yesterday i cant get any AP either (i ve got 15 ap yesterday and none since :( i would have crunched a tons of them if some available)

i ve finally got a total of 6 AP during my last 24hrs. i really can use more, like 30 per day... is there a way to get a new tape ? or dont we need to empty the v7 to have the server switching IN a new one ?
i dunno how it s working, sorry.
maybe some who are hoarding tons of them can release some packs around...
