Your personal background.
I am a 53 (oops! - now 54 - oops again !! OK I give up let's just say I now qualify for an adult only community ;-) ) year old electronics engineer from eastern Pennsylvania. I also used to play the Hammond organ professionally (hence my choice of avatar/picture - the famous Hammond Model B-3) in my younger days, but now just play for my own amazement or amusement (not sure which ;-). Obviously I have a strong interest in music (an eclectic range would best describe it) as well as photography, sci-fi and most things relating to space.

I have been at KSC (Kennedy Space Center) for the first and third Space Shuttle launches (as a photographer) - a live launch is an awesome experience.
Your opinions about SETI@home/AstroPulse Beta
I feel that the odds of us being the only intelligent lifeforms (questionable description of the human race) in the universe to be quite unlikely and hope the project can ultimately find some form of intelligence (it would be most disconcerting to find out we really are alone).

I have now switched my slowest machine full time to SETI Beta (or Test Project - whichever name you prefer). Right now my main wish would be for the optimized clients from Crunch3r et. al. since I am running on a 733 MHz P3 and taking about 110 hours to crunch a single WU (oh my poor aching CPU ;-). I don't mind the long WU time, but the project might lose the "instant gratification" people when they only see credits every 4 days or less.

Keep on crunchin' !!
