After I reboot my computer, sometimes Boinc Manager becomes unresponsive. I must click on the taskbar several times before it opens, and once it does open, it is completely blank as if Boinc had just been installed.
It doesn't show seti@home as a project, and it doesn't show it working on any units. If I try to attach seti as a new project, the manager doesn't do anything. However, the weird thing is that when I open task manager, seti@home is loaded and crunching a unit.
The error occurs on both of my computers, one is a 2.8Ghz Prescott Pentium 4 and the other is an Athlon64 3000.
The problem is very very irritating, and the only solution I've found so far is to uninstall and reinstall Boinc. It works fine then (until I shutdown and start the computer later...).
Is there anything I can do to permenantly fix this?
