Look at my code. :-P

http://axpr.net/?show=88

It's the second usage of header().

I'm not entirely sure it works, though... I haven't tested it, I've only been told such things work. :-)

Nice work Petrus!

I have made my own signature too. I'll find a good background to it sometime.

awesome, all of you making these. i'm no coder, have a hard enough time reading and understanding what others have written.
now, i don't know if this is even possible, but i think it would be cool to have one that would show the different PCs you have running with their standings.

tell me i'm stupid if needed, or have fun figuring it out - i'll happily follow along either way!

Yup it is possible, and its a good idea. Right now I don't maintain my own copy of user or host files, so maybe another site can do it.

It can be done fairly easily with the information provided in the hosts.xml file but you're going to run into large images for people with a lot of computers.

it is possible, that's true.
see an example here:

but I coded this script to work with the wap-output to have a faster update and less hardware usage. unfortunately in the wap there isn't any host information so that I won't be able to include that :(

Hi An'nai,

>That is cool, and that _would_ get huge even with just 2-3 PCs.

No, this script only displays one host so it wouldn't get bigger than that.

>(though having the computer names instead of host numbers might be nice,...

that won't be possible because the computer name is not saved in the XML-files.

Hi all,
I'm playing a little bit with something else.
Instead of do a graphic/picture output create an easy readable, fast loadable page with cross project capability.
Originaly I would like to do our team table with possibility to look at every user details. For now only user details works because I'm waiting for Janus (www.boinc.dk) exports for team.
Just to let you know and any suggestions welcome ;o)))
I like your all signatures, the are great!
And here is my page output.

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

Hi@all,

today I finished v3.0 with quite a lot of new functions:

- a bigger version of the normal counter is available with just accessing the file counter_big.php instead of counter.php (all GET-options work also with this one)

- SETI classic is now supported by the normal counter (counter.php, counter_big.php). You can use it by ?project=seticlassic with &id=, don't specify any number but your SETI-email.

- custom backgrounds are possible! If you are the webmaster, you can easily use your own background by putting an image in /backgrounds and using the command &background=[Filename of the pic, i.e. "pic1.jpg"]

- for all the ones who are not webmasters, 10 styles are predefined. Each style consists of a background, colors and the linethickness. Use them by adding &style=[1-10] to your URL.

- color of the values (credits...) is now also changeable via &cva=[Hex-value without # or a shortcut (see next new feature)]

- you may use color shortcuts for &cbg=, &cbo=, &ctx=, &cva=. Available are:
black, white, red, darkred, green, darkgreen, blue, darkblue, orange, yellow, purple, pink, brown, grey

- finally I also implemented an optional counter by using MySQL. If you want to use it have a look at CHANGELOG in the main folder.

- summary.php calculates the total credit right again (SETI changed the WAP-output and added commas)

If you have any suggestions or you found bugs please post here or contact me via emai/ICQ

See you

Hi@all,

beacause of the many versions I decided to make a web page for the script which can be found here.

I also created shorter URLs for all counters:
http://petrus.homeftp.org/bws
http://petrus.homeftp.org/boincwapstats

but the old URLs will still work... ;)

btw: new version 3.1 is out, see changes on the homepage.

After a rather long time without a new version, I now relased v3.4 which is able to create LHC-signatures.<br />

New version 3.5 adds Predictor support so that finally ALL projects are implemented :)

So now you can have something like that:

Petrus,

Good job -- I like it.

I've got it running on my own server and I do have one suggestion: rather than putting all of the configuration in the URL, I'd like to be able to put the project IDs and etc. in config.php and have it ignore the command line.

Among other things, that'd make it easier for one person to set up and "secure" the script.

Thanks.....
