Rob V., Justin Lee and I climbed Mt. Diablo via the Back Creek Trail. It was cold-ish (45-50) and there was some skanky hoar frost on the grass in shady areas. Justin set a blistering pace on the way up. There was an excellent view of the snowy Sierras from the summit. My knees hurt on the way down, but less than usual.
