Some days the Gods are against you.

Go to Costco to pick up a prescription, get some gasoline and grab a pack of sliced roast beef for making the brown bags for next week. No roast beef. Backordered for three weeks. Ask is it being discontinued? No it isn't. Well, I can get some at Smart and Final tomorrow when I do some other grocery shopping even if it is a dollar a pound more expensive. Sigh!

Ground beef patty in the microwave cooking just fine.
Go to put a couple slices of bread into the toaster. One is a heel because that's the last slice in the house. Grocery shopping is tomorrow anyway so not an issue.
The toast gets to the done point but the heel slice doesn't want to pop up. No problem, pull the power plug 'cause I'm not an idiot and I'll just wiggle it free.

That slice decides to break in half.
PO'd now. (No more bread)
Pick the toaster up so I can get it into a better position to work on retrieving the other half.

The plastic handle for the toaster breaks. Don't drop the toaster but of course all the crumbs now drop all over the floor. (BTW this toaster doesn't burn bread so having it break is upsetting)
The last half isn't so easy to get out but it comes out mostly intact.
Grab the tube of crazy glue to fix the handle

Got one on the gods, I've got a brand new tube!
Glue the handle back on.
Of course by now the meat is done, but I haven't had time to assemble the rest of the burger, which is now looking like it will be open face.
Screw the crumbs, I'll get the broom later.
