today i noticed that i do have wingmen who have also completed their tasks, but our tasks haven't validated yet,

I've got almost 100 SETI MB (V7) WU's, running on 2 HD5870, 2 on each GPU,
since GPU load, is far too low, GPU's and CPU spend as much time, UP--Down-
Clock the GPU, as computing the WU.

Since they also can't validate (?), is probably better to stop them altogether, it's a
waste of CPU/GPU and electricity. (Almost all Bêta related SERVER-Processes,
are Disabled or NOT Running).

Not even mentioning that, puter isn't useble for anything else, screen lag, now caused by down-clocked GPU's, time between a >1%-61% load on GPU's is only
a spike followed by 'normal' (900MHz, then 600 and 57MHz, even voltage drops
to zero(!?), is far too big, 10 to 45 seconds 'idle state', for normal operation.

Better, running, MB WU's on (Optimized; SSSE3) for CPU and rev. 456 or 516 on
ATI's HD5870's, doing AP tasks.
Maybe somebody has better and or more ideas? (I ran out, a.t.m.)

Server Status Page for Beta is almost never right. Eric said they have a hard time for the script to ping Beta and report back right since they are on the same servers as the main site. I guess the script gets confused with main on some processes?
I think the last time server status worked right on Beta was over a year ago.
I suspect we are waiting on a new Beta validator for the V7 results. It could also be the Beta validator was turned off the help with main site validators keep up with the shortie storm over on the main site. The Beta site validator runs on the same server as the Main site validator.

First a big "Thank you!" to Raistmer, who made/make the new opt. S@h v7 BETA builds.


Even if currently the S@h BETA validator is offline, in future he will be again online and then all ULed/reported results will be checked. So nothing is currently wasted.

Even if the currently available S@h v7 BETA apps for ATI & nVIDIA GPUs use much CPU time, they need to be tested on many different systems, so the BETA apps can be improved.

The v7 Validator is (or has been) running recently. Witness workunit 3435853 where my Q8200 running stock 6.95 and my Pentium-M running my own very similar build produced strongly similar results. ;-)

Yesterday evening, it was almost inpossible to look at results, took over 5 minutes
to get a page loaded. Hope nothing too serious?

The v7 validator is still offline. In addition, I have been unable to upload or report results for over a day.
