I want to still run Beta but, at a lower than 50/50 %. I set Beta to 5% and Seti main at 100%. Beta proceeded to download 20 tasks and call it 60 days worth of work. What is up with that.

How can I limit Beta to download 1 or 2 tasks at a time ?? app_info.xml entry ??

I have set my network settings at 0,00 days extra work and receive only 1 to 4 units that way, after it received the work i want it to receive i set beta at non new work and set the network setting at 5 days work to receive the project i want as main.
And if your new at a project it takes a while before boinc manager gets the % right for instance on freehal after 20 days still took 30 units at 0,00 setting Then the next 2 weeks slowly starts lowering into 1 every 4 hours.
Still if you want it to get right micro management is the best todo that way you make sure it runs how you want it
Another way i found working good is set for instance seti at 1000 and leave the beta at 5% that way you make sure seti gets the major load on work
