Hi everyone, I heard about the Android Beta last week, and promptly downloaded it, excited to run tasks on the go. Since then, my phone hasn't received any tasks. Is this something out of the ordinary, or are tasks not being distributed at this time? -- Samsung Galaxy S4 |

Since you're not a new user, check your project preferences and that you do have 'Use CPU' ticked, and that you have SETI@home v7 ticked too. Claggy |

I double checked, and it's set to use 2/4 CPUs. I don't see any option for SETI@home v7 [or anything similar]. It says "Nothing to do - Waiting for new tasks..." on the home page. I made sure that all the other settings would allow it to run tasks, but it simply hasn't downloaded any. |

I said the project preferences, Since this is the Setiathome/Astropulse Beta project you need to check the Setiathome/Astropulse Beta project preferences, NOT the computing preferences, that is a Global preference and applies to all projects. Ah, sorry, my mistake. I see now, it didn't have v7 checked off. Now it's getting tasks. Thanks for the help! |
