I'm going to presume it's cake that sounds good to you, not having to go to work tomorrow - cuppa or not :-)

Cake is on my list, just underneath bacon :)

Hmm, bacon butties followed by cake. There's an idea for lunch at the weekend ... :)

So that's why it's gone a bit cloudy here :(

Yup - it's all Rob's fault ;-)

TimeLord - do you ever sleep? Or are you so keen to win here that you wake up in the middle of the night to post? :-)

I have Bipolar disorder. As a rude side effect, I have bouts of insomnia. I try to be in bed by 9 PM to get the most sleep that I can; but, sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep for several hours. :-(

Oh, and: Back at the top, and WINNING!!!!! :-)

Sorry to hear that - hopefully the latest insomnia bout will improve soon

Breakfast, lunch, tea and supper :)

Not sure I could cope with cake for breakfast, but I can't really say anything as I have breakfasted on chocolate in the past ...

Anyone else at work today or are you all lazing away on a crisp, sunny Tuesday? The heavy frost makes even the centre of town look lovely but it did mean the windscreen clearance this morning was more of a chip than a scrape!

Weather here (about 1/2 way along the A47 from you) is very similar although we've now reached the dizzying heights of 278K :-)

I'm at home once again, my beer token pay packet isn't going to be very good next week :(

Now trying to work while basking in the sun - the joys of the office being on the top floor and glass on three sides :-)

I sloped off home early. Currently enjoying a late lunch gazing out at a sun-drenched garden, trying to ignore the weeds :-)

Weeds = Green.
Green = Good.

Otherwise you live in California where Brown is the new Green.

I agree, that's always my excuse if anyone asks :-)

Just made the most of my unexpectedly free afternoon and, after all the mention of cake, both here and on Word Link, brought my weekend baking forward. Having checked contents of fridge and cupboards though, I was reminded it is still winter as I discovered I had just enough leftover ingredients to make a dozen mince pies. I may have to declare some as rejects if I want to get any myself :-)

Many (but not all) of us in the US were off yesterday for President's Day, which is the Monday between Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays. We should all be back at work today.

I hadn't planned to have cake for breakfast, but I walked in and there it was, so I had some.

My sleeping problem is that I often wake up needing to use the euphemism some time around 2-4 a.m. Then I can't get back to sleep until after 5, which is about when I need to be waking up. I'm experimenting today with the notion that it's better to just stay awake from 2:45 than to be awake for a couple of hours, drift off about 5, and then be rudely awakened by my alarm at 5:24.
