ok, I took ur advice ! Now running "Zorin OS 11" with a 4.2 Kernel. Just have to install the pripropitery drivers and install the Intel Open CL library packages (over "synaptic"). Guess what ? I am crunshing now on free OS, both cpu and Intel gpu. Horray ! THX BUT... failures on crunshing, any guess ? |

What proprietary drivers? Beignet is open source so what did you install? And what Beignet version? Those "i915 kernel driver may not be sane!" messages don't look too good. Regarding the failures, see the other one of the two other threads. |

1. Mircocode Intel "Unknown&unknown" 2. Beignet 1.0.3 3. Including: Opencl Headers ... dont know if there are included But the servers wont give me any wus for the intel gpu anymore... AARGH ! I= ve updated "Beignet" without complete package , gpu functions are lost. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/1.1.1-2/+build/8295939 ok used this package, my gpu is back. |

Ah, microcode update for the processor. Beignet 1.1.1 should be good once the app is updated. The app appears to be not compatible with recent glibc. |

You have returned so many errors that the daily quota for that app version is now 1. You just need to wait for a new app version, the current one is not going to work on more recent distros like the one you have now. |

...on more recent distros... Which they are, is there a collection of testet distros right now ? |

I don't think there is a list of tested distros yet.To find a distro where the current app works you can search DistroWatch for distros that have gcc older than 5.0. |

Nothing new, same old errors as before on an other os, must be basicly a failure on hard-or software. |

Just started testing Debian 8.3 (Jessie) with kernel 4.3 from jessie-backports repository and gcc 4.8/4.9, standalone intel_gpu works, but BOINC has problems to detect OpenCL : error -108, error code 5632 whatever the second one means. _\|/_ U r s |

5632 is encoded status from waitpid(). Decoded it's exited with exit code 22. If 22 is normal OS error it's invalid argument. Wouldn't it have been easier to put the define in CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS instead of every single file and missing a few? |

5632 is encoded status from waitpid(). Decoded it's exited with exit code 22. If 22 is normal OS error it's invalid argument. CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS are only for compiler options. In Makefiles these are differentiated from preprocessor options in CPPFLAGS. Yes, that is truely necessary, too. Alpha works now, thanks for the hint. _\|/_ U r s |
