Just bought an Acer Iconia One 10 tablet. I wonder if any of the SETI Android apps would work on this tablet? I want to say yes? (Although... I have seen some 'problem' wingmen, using Lollipop 5.1.1 where the server settled on a 'best app' that trashes most of the WU's. But, if you're here, it could help develop a better version, so...) ![]() |

Running it on main now. Lots of strange errors in the stderrs, but the WU's do validate OK. Is it anything I can do about this? Don't bother about all restarts, those were intentional, due to lots of configurations of the tablet. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=4759071231 Examples: WARNING: linker: ../../projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu/setiathome_8.00_arm-android-linux-gnu__armv6-vfp has text relocations. Nothing to say about these errors in the stderr? |

Nothing to say about these errors in the stderr? Try asking Eric in the news thread? Yes I know what I said about asking here, but there's not much point if the only person you might know something is already hard pressed to keep up with the news thread :) If they run and validate ok I'd class it as cosmetic, but probably still worth checking. Nothing to say about these errors in the stderr? Thank you William. I have attached the device to Beta, and will try out the 8.01 app. Maybe it works better. If not, I'll try to contact Eric, or maybe even just forget about Android crunching for now :-) |

Hard to test the tablet here on Beta, when there's no tasks being split. |
