Please post here links to such hosts.
Hopefully this will speedup release to main for corresponding apps.

Andromeda, MAC OS X ver 10.11.4. Hackintosh, "Mac Pro 3,1". (SETI Main.)

Crunching TBar's/Petri33's Special_CUDA75 App. Crunching 1 Unit at a time per GPU. Two EVGA GTX-750TI SC cards. (Crunching at SETI Main.)

Here at Beta, the same system has crunched 40 CUDA75 Units. (Crunched 2 at a time per GPU.)

Andromeda at Beta.

On main 23 minutes per guppi. Could you try here one at a time so that we get a comparison of the runtimes 1 vs 2. Btw. All validated here on beta.

Made the change to "appconfig.xml"; now crunching 1 Unit per card at a time on Beta. Allowed New Tasks, picked up 19 new tasks. Crunching now. :-)

TL

[EDIT:]

Three Units completed and Reported. One Unit was a Shorty at 5 Sec completed.

All 19 Units just completed... It seemed SLOOWWWER running one at a time; so, I've restored my original appconfig.xml for Beta and will resume crunching 2 at a time per card.

Just restored SETI Main App to the "regular", (Non-Special), App of CUDA75. appconfig.xml for Main also restored to crunch 2 Units at a time per GPU.

5 New Tasks in queue as of 12:51 PM - PDT, 9-11-2016. More Units to follow in the next hour or so. (Also posted this in TBar's Thread in NC at Main.)

Thank You TL4 for trying the special version.

I see 2 options.

1) To see the real runtimes of tasks with different ar and of origin (Arecibo/Gbt) I'd kindly ask you to run one at a time here on beta.

You may be receiving a brand new special app to test from TBar in the following days.

So to set up a baseline with baseline app, could you change that to run just one at a time here and when you run any other version please run them too one a a time as well.

On main you can try to hunt RAC or whatever.

2) Whatever version you run do run the same amount of them with their respective commandline parameters. The special app needs a couple of them to make it special. If I remember right you can set them in app_config.xml or in an another .cfg file. I'm not sure how MAC people do it.

Well, I don't have any command line parameters - here, or at Main. I really don't understand all that stuff; nor where those are put...

Due to the Suspend/Resume issues with the Special App; I've stopped using the Special App at Main. Until I here that that has been addressed and corrected; I'm now sticking with the Regular CUDA75 App at Main. Which is why I've restored my appconfig.xml files at Main and here at Beta to crunch 2 at a time. (This gets more work done per hour...)

With no hosts reported for over than week of thread existing (I speak about hosts doing stock beta on Mac OS) it's hard to expect fast release to main.

I'm happy if we have here even one who's willing to test. I do not own a MAC or a HACK. I have a Windoze one in the upstairs, but I do not want to install my 4x780+2x980 there.

Could anyone be so kind please and come and get my junk iron out of here? Winter is coming. Summer for some.

I just looked over the Host list and the only new addition I see is Jason's Mac. No one else has bothered to install the CUDA driver so they can run the Apps. I don't think it's going to get any better until someone, such as Eric, makes an announcement about Mac CUDA Apps needing testing. Until then most people won't have a clue about any new Mac Apps. Announcements were made for other Apps, even the mention of an App for the Obsolete ATI HD4 GPUs brought a few people running. I don't think there has ever been a Mac CUDA App on Beta before, surely that deserves an Announcement of some sort.

So I haven't really been following this too closely.

How does one get the cuda 75 app

For your Mac running Darwin 15.6 that already has the current CUDA driver just run as Stock. It appears the Plan Class block for Darwin 15.0 is working here as well as at Main. That means you should only be sent the CUDA Apps with Darwin 15.0 and above.

For others you have to install the CUDA driver that supports your OS. For Fermi and above GPUs running Mavericks and above just install the latest driver, which right now is, CUDA 7.5.30 driver for MAC

If you are running Mountain Lion or Lion, or have a Pre-Fermi GPU in Mavericks, install this driver, NVIDIA CUDA 5.5 for MAC OS X release
Pre-Fermi GPUs will not work with CUDA in Yosemite and above, you're stuck with OpenCL if you have a Pre-Fermi GPU in Yosemite or above.

You might get GPUs to work in Snow Leopard with this driver, NVIDIA CUDA 4.2 for MAC release

Basically, just install the correct CUDA driver just as people running Windows or Linux would.

10-5-2016 for the past two hours and a half hours, (since 3 PM Pacific), I've been crunching Beta again.

I have both of my systems engaged. The MAC seems to be getting only CUDA75 so far, and Win XP Pro x64 is getting a mix of CUDA32, SOG, CUDA50 and CUDA42.

Again, the MAC has two, (2), EVGA GTX-750TI SC cards and is crunching 2 Units at a time on each card. Win XP has one, (1), EVGA GTX-760 and is crunching 2 Units at a time.

I will leave both systems crunching for the next couple of days, and then switch them to SETI Main. Once at SETI Main, (again), the MAC is on TBar's standard CUDA75, (or Non-Special), App. There, it will crunch 2 Units at a time on each card.

I hope the data gathered here and at Main proves useful. 😃

BETA for XP (Windows app ) is finished currently (though always smth could be spotted even after finish), beta for OS X still continues.

I would be glad to have some list of hosts running {stock} app in testing (we speak here about binaries provided by TBar and that testing as new CUDA stock for OS X currently, not any of more modern modifications that on different testing stage) for their performance and accuracy review.
Having enough of such hosts would speedup app release to main (and we need that ASAP cause some of OS X NV hosts now ruled out completely from MB GPU processing)

Mac OS X/64-bit Intel 8.11 (cuda75_mac) 6 Aug 2016, 4:12:08 UTC 23 GigaFLOPS

Any way to get list of these hosts w/o manual check of each and every host inside top list?

http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/setiathome_v8_x86_64-apple-darwin__cuda42_mac.html
Read it and weep. That ONE machine is mine, from back in August
As I said before, I don't think most people know there are Apps to be tested. I contacted a couple about it, but no one installed the required driver to run the App.
Not much I can do about it, so, I'm not going to worry about it.

Oh, the other one is here, http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/setiathome_v8_x86_64-apple-darwin__cuda75_mac.html
Take away Jason's machine and mine, and there isn't much there.
This machine has an out dated driver, so, he's not going to be much help,

Just updated the OS, cuda and Nvidia on my laptop.

Sorry, I had turned off BOINC during the day as it was causing freezing and reboots under the old OS.

I'll let it run and see how it does with the new softwares installed.

Just Upgraded the CUDA Driver to 8.0.46 on Andromeda. (Suspended and Exited BOINC first...) Will now resume crunching with the new Driver. OS still on 10.11.4 and the corresponding Alternate NVIDIA Web Driver.
