Many thanks for the win Rob and Happy Birthday! Hope you enjoy the rest of your special day :-)

Have fun posting whilst I think up a target and, in the meantime, enjoy the mince pies launched earlier.

The Last Person To Post Here Wins Thread, general rules:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread (use the red cross to notify them)
6. Go to 1.

Thank you Guys :-)

Rob said I had to keep you guessing for a few days so, today's guess - what will I get from the lucky dip in the Advent Celebrations tub?

Possible choices - Galaxy, Mars, Bounty, Galaxy Caramel, Snickers, Malteser, Twix, MilkyWay ... :-D

The lucky dip didn't know about the galatic link so it was actually a Bounty :-)

If anyone was guessing yesterday's Advent lucky dip it was a Malteser. Today's finally fitted in with the SETI theme - a Galaxy!

Today's guess - what "toy" did I get in my cracker at the team Christmas lunch? As a clue they were cheap crackers with the small plastic toys ...

Happy Winter Solstice :-)

Congratz Susie!
One half-day left to work (tomorrow), and then it's time for Merry Something, and a Happy New Something Else, until January 9, 2017.
Now if they only would split some tasks here at Beta, then it would be possible to test some v8.22 work....

Hi - another one with only half a day left to work this year.
So in case anything else gets in the way - Have a REALLY Great Christmas and Happy New Year.

(Remember, keep smirking - it keeps everyone guessing)

Thank you Tut :-) I've been getting tasks without a problem, although it does look as though they've started splitting some Astropulse work now. Like you and Rob, just a half day for me and then I'm not back until 9 January - looking forward to staying snuggled up under the duvet instead of getting up for work :-)

For those of you playing the guessing game, I got a spinning top "dice" - not exactly precision engineered - it landed on 3 over 90% of the time :-)

Happy Holidays everyone - another batch of mince pies baked and despatched

(Remember, keep smirking - it keeps everyone guessing)

Smiling at a stranger is great too - watch them frown as they try and work out whether they know you

Now being a city boy I know that works.

However not so well down here on the Isle of Wight, after a couple of weeks complete strangers are saying good morning anyway.

And you suddenly realise that here in the winter there really are no strangers :-)
