I was wondering if anyone is doing testing on the open source Linux drivers for ATI cards. Seems like ATI isn't going to support the proprietary catalyst driver anymore. If so, I would be happy to help out and test some WUs. Seems that SETI proper has masked the open drivers and when I try to use it on another project that lets it get work, it throws computation errors. My driver from BOINCs view is: AMD AMD CYPRESS (DRM 2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0) (1024MB) OpenCL: 1.1 and the card is a Radeon HD 5850. Host is here if curious: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=8171948 |
