Hi all,

I am trying to attach to this project for intel gpu on Fedora 27 Linux. My rig has two Nvidia graphic cards (1070 and 750ti) and the processor haswell (i7-4790K) has integrated gpu. Now my cpu and nvidia gpus are crunching normally (not in this project), but as for Intel gpu, trying to attach to beta project for Intel gpu, I get an error that my computer's preference is wrong, and that only nvidia and ati wu's are available for me, but that they are disabled by me. Actually I allow only Intel gpu wu's in the preference menu, but my computer doesn't request wu's for intel gpu. Why? Am I doing anything wrong?

My status about opencl is as follows. This is the output of clinfo command.

hmmm, I think I've solve this enigma. According to this page, my Intel gpu (Intel HD graphics 4600) isn't supported by OpenCL for Linux. I'll post this to Intel community forum to urge development..

That page seems to be about Intel's closed source driver. Beignet is the open source driver which you have already installed and it's working.

Since BOINC didn't detect it, I'm guessing you have BOINC starting at system boot. Either the driver wasn't ready (it might be loaded by X or Wayland) or boinc user doesn't have permissions to access whichever device node the driver created. Try restarting the client first, "sudo systemctl restart boinc-client".
