If I must I must. I think the first time I won it was still in the single digits. Time flies.
(Boy does it, it was #9 and Babe of the Day was the hot thread)
Oh, thanks Grumpy, and I'm going to have that birthday dinner tonight, so I'll hoist one for your birthday too!

Now the problem is to select a endpoint. I'll have to give that some thought. THINKING .... THINKING ... I just might select a number I don't know myself. Sounds like a plan.

Rules: Where did we leave the rules? Bonus points -- (There weren't rules back at #9, who made them up?)
0. Double post, double lose, but since I can't win anyway, doesn't apply to me.

Oh I found them: #3 IS MANDATORY
The Last Person To Post Here Wins Thread, general rules:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread (use the red cross to notify them)
6. Go to 1.

(OBW 5 may/may not happen, I'm not sure there are any mods left here to lock a thread.)

I've always been happy to celebrate my twin's birthday :) although it does mean remembering it's also my own unfortunately (which is one I'm a lot less enamoured by... other than perhaps the fact reaching them is a snub at some of the more nefarious intentions of the cosmos to rid itself of me from time to time, yes ;) And my family and friends seem pleased to have me around too - which is nice, while it lasts)

And for that reason, you're just going to have to put up with me wishing you happy birthday for the 26th, Grumpy! :) And Gary, for the 25th :)

I don`t celebrate my birthday for years.
On the other hand i like to get congrats from family and friends.
Weird, because not much are knowing my birthday.

If ET was easy to find, you would have been probed by now.

Data has been analyzed, papers have been written. Nothing found.
Now the work is on getting the automatic methods to reject the ever increasing pile of human signals that pollute the data. When they are gone 99.999% of present "signal" positives its make it possible to human eyeball the rest.

BTW, carping isn't winning.

MI5 has an agent called EOF, EOF... but they
don't know I know that.

Anyway. As I've now won - and really quite
spectacularly... I thought I might do something
about it... like indulge in some megalomania
for instance... :)

starting with this edit.
