The new app is out and since it takes so much longer, will there be an optimized version available soon?

The new app is out and since it takes so much longer, will there be an optimized version available soon? Also is it ok to continue with the optimised app or should we change to 4.02? Get BOINC WIKIed

The new app is out and since it takes so much longer, will there be an optimized version available soon? 4.02 is quite different from 4.00. So you must update your client..... but somehow it's as fast as (sometimes a bit slower) in the real crunching, while it's very slow in crunching the reference WU (about 10 hours on my 2.8G P4.) So I'm wondering what I did wrong with this. I hope not ;) I will build optimized clients w/SSE and w/SSE2 for Windows/Linux until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow and put the links on this message board. Windows client is already using fftw, so I am not sure how much optimization works for Windows (I expect 10-20% gain? It's purely Intel's power :) ) Luckiest in the world.
