After having changed my general preferences at S@H/Boinc, updated the Beta project in Boinc at 12:11:51 UTC and checking here if the general preferences were updated I came to the conclusion they were not. In fact, on the upper part of the page stays: "Preferences last modified: 5 Jul 2005 8:26:58 UTC". And in Boinc I have the messages 26/07/2005 14:11:51|SETI@home Beta Test|Sending scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta_cgi/cgi 26/07/2005 14:11:52|SETI@home Beta Test|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta_cgi/cgi succeeded Making a change here, updating in Boinc, updating on another project and checking on that other project if updated does appear not to work also. Seems like something is not working like it should. |

These are silly questions that I am sure you know about but... are you using the same client to update both accounts? Did you do a manual refresh/reload on your browser to make sure you are not viewing a cached page? Usual question after that... do your Email addresses (+ CPIDs) match? If you change your preferences in BETA, does the client pick them up? do they propagate back to SETI (production) when you update to SETI scheduler? ![]() Join BOINC Synergy |

Hi Paul@Home, Thanks for the answer, it will be the e-mail address which I put in a different way. My ISP changed the extension of it allowing 2 different names. As due to the change of the IP's of the servers I can't check it now as I'm affected with the no schedulers respond. On all your other questions, the answer is yes. Boincing since 12th June 2004 ;-) |
