All of my WU (not so many, maybe 2 or 3 till now) exited with error. Latest is: 2005-08-11 12:12:59|SETI@home Beta Test|Aborting result 03oc03aa.9124.306.536080.66_1: exceeded CPU time limit 114116.364000 2005-08-11 12:12:59|SETI@home Beta Test|Unrecoverable error for result 03oc03aa.9124.306.536080.66_1 (Maximum CPU time exceeded) 2005-08-11 12:12:59|SETI@home Beta Test|Deferring communication with project for 1 minutes and 0 seconds 2005-08-11 12:13:00||request_reschedule_cpus: process exited 2005-08-11 12:13:00|SETI@home Beta Test|Computation for result 03oc03aa.9124.306.536080.66_1 finished 2005-08-11 12:13:00||Allowing work fetch again. 2005-08-11 12:13:00||Resuming round-robin CPU scheduling. There was a bug in the work units given out around the 25th of July. I see you got yours the 27th, but they may still have been bugged ones. All should now fare well on the new unit you got. If you want to know what happened, you'll have to look it up either in the Wiki, or in this thread. We all had them. ;) |

This problem is supposed to be corrected with WU's that have a long term deadline (currently showing end of October). |

Well, either it's not fixed, or I have a problem on my machine I don't know about, as I am getting every work unit error'ing out too. Just started with the Beta about 2 weeks ago. I'm not complaining, mind you, just posting to see if there is still a problem or if I need to look at something here. Regular Seti packets and Einstein packets are working fine. |

I had problems with those infamous work units at the end of July. However all of the work units that I have received since Aug 5 (incidently they have greatly longer deadline times) have returned successfully. I would note, using the regular beta enhanced 4.04 application not one of the souped up versions out there. Also credits reported in the mid 200 hundreds per unit. |

Knighters, The problem that was fixed was for the "Maximium CPU time exceeded" error. You don't seem to have that problem and are suffering from something completely different. You are getting the following two errors: -1073741502 & CreateProcess() failed - The system cannot find the file specified BOINC Wiki doesn't seem to have a listing for these errors, so I'd try to get the attention of the project team to find out what's going on with your system. Something is definately wrong! :( Have you tried resetting the project? |

Have you tried resetting the project? I just did, and will give it a day or so and see how that goes. |

Have you tried resetting the project? It seems to be working fine now, must have had something hosed up somewhere. :) |
