Yeti

This gets tougher, in that files that should have been cleared out are still there.

The answer to your basic question do I need "libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll" the answer is yes!

I packaged AP 4.12 which has the required file.

Right now there shouldn't be any AP units. The latest version has been canceled and the app isn't DL the correct files.

@Pappa: I downloaded the package but I don't see libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll in it ?

@Misfit: I know, that there are no actual Astropulse Units,. but I wanted to be prepared for the next version

I think you can get ... " libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll " ... from Here:

it's a long scroll to the bottom of the web page ...... " libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll ' ..... is just above ..... " New banner . jpq "

Okay, got it, thanks :-))

But now, there is one final question: As long, as i didn't use app_info.xml, all astropulse-wu were downloaded and crunched corretly, but the "automatic-system" didn't download this dll.

So, for what is it good ?

FFTW does the FFTs for the application. Either libfftw3f-3-1-1a.dll or libfftw3f-3-1-1a_upx.dll is definitely needed to do the science, my guess is the next AstroPulse app will be using the version compressed with UPX to reduce the download size (and space on your hard drive).
