I am 59 and started crunching Seti@Home almost from the beginning of the project in 1999. Have been interested in Space and possibility of other inteligent life forms since early teens. When I started running Seti@home I was working for the BC Government developing a NT 4 image to roll out 6000+ NT workstations to the Ministry of Attorney General. I was going to build Seti in as a service but figured I would get fired. I decided last year to run mainly Seti Beta as I thought my computer may better serve in a developement roll. I am currently working in Security department doing R+D work on identity management and data encryption
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
