I know we are sending out signals all the time, right lets switch this round so i can explain, say we are the aliens and are realy advanced, we recieve a signal thats good we know that life exissts or than more life exists, but we dont know were they are!

So why dont we send a signal, we can write it down on a shine gold disk why not send it out. we could send it out on radio stations, simple enought :)

The signal would go faster than on a ship, until we can go faster than the speed of light anyways.
