I finished the 51st data block but it would not download. I assume the problem is that my SETI is obsolete as of Dec. 15th, 2005, even though I was already running BOINK 2.25. So I downloaded the BOINK 2.45 but it would not install because SETI was already running, I suspended it but it still wouldn't run so I uninstalled it and was able to install BOINK 2.45 but there is no SETI to run.
I downloaded SETI again nd it says that I have a new account but still SETI is not running or even displayed. What gives?
I am running on an old computer using WIN-95, 100 MHz, that is dedicated to SETI and usually takes about 4 days to complete a data block but now ther seems to be no SETI. Have I done something wrong or will the SETI not run on BOINC with WIN-95 or what?

If you have 64k of memory it will not run and win 95 will not play nice with BOINC....

Thanks for responding. I have 40 MB or RAM and have always used BOINK and have neaver had any problems. I got the BOINK just fine but ther is no SETI. BOINK shows that I have an account but there is no SETI screensaver nor is the SETI icon in the task tray.

BOINC has no system requirement itself because it does not do anything. The new SETI app (v4.18) that runs under BOINC checks to see if you have 64MB of RAM free after the system finishes loading. If not, SETI will not run. There is no way around this unless you find someone else's compiled version without the 64MB RAM free requirement.
