I'd just like to say again that I appreciate all the work that is done to keep the SETI@home project running...I know sometimes it must seem like all you hear are complaints...But some of us are really thankful for the thankless job that you do for SETI@home...That's what this thread was all about when Bruno Moretti started it back in August, 2004...

Does anyone else feel likewise?...Or should this be just another "chat" thread?

Count me in! The SETI folks are doing a fine job and that should be evident from the activity on these forums as well as the evolution of SETI@home to BOINC.

Most of the stuff in the CAFE is meaningless drivel, but I like to think that every now and then when the staff take a peek in here, they smile and laugh and get a little boost. Stay motivated and keep up the hard work folks, we'll take care of brightening your day!

And don't be afraid to try something new!

LOL Yes, I'd be honoured! :-D

But I was around the early days here, and I have been a regular in the cafe since December 2004.

Well I did have my tongue in my cheek there but....

We have green stars to say that we have donated, why not red stars for those that have "served" 5 years or more. Almost like campaign medals....

Ok, I'm outta here, no more star discussions for me. Byeeee...

What about a Real Star for the Real Stars..? pP ;-)

I would like to congratulate the S@H project staffers for the work they do to keep the project on track within the shoe string budgets they work with.

I wish them a good 2008 and successful donations appeal!
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues
