This page has a link to a user's manual PDF that appears to show a memory cover on the back of the lappy.

My dear Mr. Kittyman,

I thank you very much indeed for your help in this matter.

The X40 link gave me the clue that all the peripheral screws had to be released, and then it followed, that in fact, ALL the screws had to come out, to release the rear cover.

I am, Sir, most indebted to you.

With Kindest Regards,

I have a 2014 vintage HP laptop which runs SuSE Leap 15.0 Linux. I discovered recently that it has a webcam and a microphone, so it enables me to take part in Zoom sessions with my old American school, Thomas Jefferson School, St.Louis, MO, USA. But it has a PDF manual, which I had not read, not applying the command Read the f..... Manual. I am used to learn by trial and error.

Cloudflare wants to kill the CAPTCHA
On Thursday, Cloudflare research engineer Thibault Meunier said in a blog post that the company was "launching an experiment to end this madness" and get rid of CAPTCHAs completely.

The means to do so? Using security keys as a way to prove we are human.

Hi Grant,

I fail to understand the significance of that photo. Did the guy have a RTX GPU installed in his gut? What? :\

Have a great day! :)

Drug bust turns in to power theft bust
When UK police conducted a raid of a suspected cannabis farm last week, they were surprised to find no marijuana. They found a farm, mind you, it was just of the digital variety. Crypto mining isn't illegal in the region, but stealing the electricity to power the operation is.

As for any legitimate banks, credit card companies and web sites that want that personal info to "help secure my accounts" have never received the real answers to those types of questions and never will.

I use a secure random password generator to fill them in for the www sites that want that info, thus each site gets different junk.

I am curious to know whether or not there is an active video rendering/rendering project either using boinc or another platform that need resources to assist them? On Windows

There was BURP, (Big and Ugly Rendering Project) that ran on BOINC back in the day. Abandoned since 2004.
It looks like Renderfarm.fi took over using BURP's engine with a different front end.
But it looks like it can't be reached now.

Thanks Keith. I thought that was the case. I contributed to renderfarm.fi when it was active this was years ago I enjoyed helping out with the rendering as I did with Burp. I am hopeful one day it will be up and running again.
