Junk mail is worse. Since the cable was laid, receive these 2/3 a month.
Within 3 months of the cable being laid, had 2 visits from their sales reps. After the 2nd visit, had none (ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies).
Got this one yesterday.

After those visits, started receiving the junk mail from Vodafone.
After snail mailing CityFibre stating not interested & to cease mailing me, snail mailed Vodafone. Theirs stopped, however, since then CityFibre restarted. :-(
Vodafone is one of CityFibre's major partners.
Even though both were contacted by mail, all still state "The Occupier".

probably aren't being dumped into a CSV file anyway. most likely a database file, which wont be affected by this. but it's also easy to delimit by a different character instead of a comma.

Millions shocked over secret Alexa code that unlocks hidden Super Mode

The phrase in question is the Konami Code, a string of button descriptions from classic gaming joypads.
The secret code to tell Alexa: “Alexa, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start”, as revealed on TikTok.

"BIG IRON" computing is not dead yet...
AWS has a sexy new modernization play – and it's all about unsexy mainframes

Whatever the historic merits of mainframes, there simply aren't many people today who know how to use them. Universities may teach ancient Egyptian history, but even they don't waste time teaching mainframe skills. That means there's a big swath of enterprise computing that is on a collision course with obsolescence...

The European Center for Midterm Weather Forecasting has been moved from Reading, UK, to Bologna, which already hosts the Italian Computing Center CINECA, It has four mainframes in two pairs configuration, all from a French firm which was called Bull and now is Atos. The French Gov is still supporting its electronic industry, contrarily to the Italian Gov. I have worked for Honeywell Information Systems Italy, which no longer exists. Honeywell USA has made a joint wenture with a Cambridge spinoff to develop a quantum computer, like IBM and Google.

Some very interesting numbers.
Semi CapEx to Hit $152 Billion in 2021 as Market on Track for $2 Trillion by 2035
“It took 50 years for the semiconductor business to turn into a half a trillion-dollar business," said Khaldoon Al Mubarak, CEO of Mubadala, in an interview with CNBC. "It is going to take probably eight to 10 years to double [by 2030 ~ 2031]. And it is going to double right after that, probably in four to five years.

. . Anyone here doing WUs for E@H? All my machines look like E@H found a local black hole and fell into it at 8:50 am today.
. . Feeling very isolated about now :(

Try again - give the crunchers a kick if needed. E@H came back a bit before 11 UTC.

Edit - new work seems to be in short supply still, but at least you should be able to complain about it on their own website!

. . It seems that during the problem time I suffered many failed transfers and the security function has placed me on the bad boy list. I have "reached my daily quota of 114 tasks". So no new work for me :(
. . Not sure now whether to let it run and hope I get work soon, or just shut down and restart tomorrow.

In particular the O3AS workunit generator isn't running.

. . Thanks Richard.

. . All I need now is for the watchdog to go back to sleep so I can get some of whatever work is available.

Haven't seen any posts in Projects other than mine. Milkyway has been down and not available for over a day now. No idea what is going on there unless someone who does social media has seen any news on the project.

Thanks for the reply Stephen.
Looks like MW is back this morning . . . and absolutely no posts in News or any posts as to why they disappeared.
I even tried to find the campus network status page at Rensselaer yesterday to figure out why the domain went missing. Nothing found.
