It’s now raining outside My window here.

You should get a weather webcam for that site.

I did a search using "weather webcam" just for fun and Yermo CA was the 4th result down from the top, go figure. I looked on Amazon too, found lots of security cameras, but no webcams, not even on the weatherunderground, Barstow and Yermo come up empty too.

My backyard weather station is on Weather Underground -

https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KKYLOUIS113

And my weather webcam live feed on the front of my house is also on WU if you click on "Webcam" in the link, above. (It's night time as I post this, so the video is in b & w.)

I'm not really that interested, I've plenty of stations on My phone already.

I have my own station on a pole in my backyard because I like to know exactly what the conditions are here at my house, and it's fun.

This is the one I have -

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074ZNJYT8/ref=dp_prsubs_1

It syncs up with Weather Underground.

Reading the full description a mounting bracket and hardware is included in the kit, so all one needs is a 'man on a ladder' with a drill and screwdriver.

Don't forget to turn off your outdoor spigots from inside. I just realized I haven't done mine yet. There's two valves downstairs in the basement.

Here in the winter, one faucet is left on to prevent the pipes from freezing, a trickle is good enough.

This works well for me and I don't waste water.

The faucet bib has worked well for me for 25 years and where I live it is a lot colder than your part of California.
I don't care about what I am billed for my water usage but I am concerned about waste, aren't you?

Winter has properly put its draws on here. Over the last few days it's been getting colder, we've had the first hint of snow, and this morning was just plain cold and unpleasant (and it's no better at lunch time).
