I have two different video cards in my computer and I want to run two instances of seti on the fast card and just one on the slow card. Is this possible? I am running Ubuntu and Radeon cards with the anonymous platform. I cant find much in the docs for the xml config files. Thank you. |

So somewhere in the forum is the necessary information to do what you ask. My cobwebbed brain is no help here on 3 1/2 hours of sleep. The only thing that differentiates the cards is the device number since they are both AMD/ATI opencl cards. |

Might setup with 1 task per card, get a baseline and then see what 2 tasks / card does. If the slow card doesn't slow down too much your total production might go up like you want. on windows-7 I am running more than 1 ins trace of BOINC. Each of my 3 (hidden) gpu cards are running different setups ... and yes, you can run 3 on one card, 2 on another and 1 on the third ... If I can do it on windows I'm sure it can be done on a real O.S. (sorry things are hidden but ...) Just use a little imagination and more than one BOINC and SETI can be (more) fun. Ed F |
