couldn't find an "examples" folder on one of my Windows boxes in either the program directory or the data directories. The version I run under Linux doesn't have an "examples" folder either. You have to be running BoincTasks. This is where I found it on my BT host. ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/eFMer/BoincTasks$ Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours ![]() ![]() A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

That was the issue. Looked in wrong app. I don't think I am running BTasks. Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

You can do the same thing with boinccmd. No need for 3rd party software. Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours ![]() ![]() |

I've noticed the different ratio of MB to GreenBank (blc) data too . I think it partially has to do with this file, 18dc09aa, being stuck. It is taking around 8 of the 11 channels in progress and nothing is coming out. Those 8 channels aren't doing anything. So there are only 3 channels working on splitting MB data. And a month later it's still there. Grant Darwin NT |

WU deleters are backing up again, splitter output has fallen, again. Along with the Ready-to-send buffer, again. Hope they can get the new It's not a good sign having them struggling under even normal loads. Edit- corrected server type (Keith beat me to it). Grant Darwin NT |

As far as I have heard there will be no new download server coming. It is the upload server they are updating to a new server with solid state drives. https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=84081&postid=1999991 Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours ![]() ![]() A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

it should help with all these issues. Bruno is upload server, but also file deleter, and also splitter_throttle_sah So I think it should help to update this machine. |

Deleters falling behind again, splitter output impacted again. No effect on Ready-to-send buffer at this stage. Grant Darwin NT |

Not many WUs waiting on deletion, but the splitters continue to struggle. Grant Darwin NT |

Not many WUs waiting on deletion, but the splitters continue to struggle. I just checked and at 520 they were doing 50/sec ![]() |

Not many WUs waiting on deletion, but the splitters continue to struggle. It's not the peaks that matter, it's the average. Those very brief peaks just aren't offsetting the lows, and how long they stay low. Hence the less than half full Ready-to-send buffer. (When things are going well, the peaks can be over 70/s, sustained bursts of 60/s). Grant Darwin NT |

Impeding system crash, another HDD failure? Getting some discouraging error messages when looking at some users system & results info. I sure hope they can fix these issues before WOW. We have been lucky in that there hasn't been much down time lately, but there have been many close calls, or warning signals. We might need a new panic thread if they don't strengthen the system before then. |
