I have a linux server that I have installed boinic on and I think I have everything up and running but I am not sure. Is there a way to check? When I check my computers on my profile it shows up but I dont know if it is doing anything.

This server doesn't have a gpu and everything is command line.

Your host hasn't requested any work yet. Have you tried an update yet?

boinccmd --project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ allowmorework

boinccmd --project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ update

The first time you contact the project it will only ask for one task during the first 24 hours you have attached to the project. It will wait for it to be returned, and if the task was successfully processed, then it will send you more work.

I don't see any tasks yet in your cache which leads me to believe either you didn't ask for any work or you have issues connecting with the project. You connected at least once to create the host though.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the reply, I tried both of those commands and I still not see any work. Does it take time? I did a --get_state and nothing is showing up under tasks
