Anyone can give me something on these cards? I found them for good deal. My only concern how well they perform on seti. I'd expect not all that well compared to most other currently available consumer cards. They've got lots of CUDA cores & RAM, but very low clock speed, very low memory bandwidth, huge power consumption. It does have the advantage of having 2 GPUs on the single card, but still it's performance for power used won't be great. Grant Darwin NT |

Waste of time and money. It’s too old to use the latest special app. It only had a CC of 3.7, so the best you could do is the older zi3v app, or the SoG app. And it has a 300W TDP so it’s going to generate a lot of heat. And it’s based on the now very old Kepler architecture which is miles behind in efficiency and will use a lot of power. To top it off, it has no fan. It’s intended to be used in a high pressure and high airflow server case, in a data center environment where noise is no concern. And at the end of the day, it will probably get outperformed by something like a 1060 using 1/3 the electricity and none of the hassle Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours ![]() ![]() |
