new price, probably 1660ti on the special app with Linux used price, you should be able to find an RTX2060 for $300, again, on the special app with Linux. Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours ![]() ![]() |

I was looking at Shaggie's chart. It looks like a gtx 1660Ti is the most power efficient right now. And it is running neck and neck with gtx 1070/gtx 107Ti's. https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=81962 Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

Here is a really good compute performance article testing OpenCL compute performance and performance per watt on devices from Maxwell to Turing for Nvidia cards. Includes the new Super cards. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=rtx-super-compute&num=1 Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours ![]() ![]() A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

I bought three 1660 OC and have an older 1060 running now! The 1660Ti is generally the card of choice, although the 1660s are cheaper. Making use of some command line values would improve their output considerably. Just one thing to note- with the drivers you are running on your systems, you will see some WUs error out (look at the Errors in your Task List). The last working driver was v431.60, everything after that will result in errors with particular WUs. Grant Darwin NT |
