Linux Mint 19.2, AMD.

BOINC has been running merrily since I upgraded to Mint 19.2 but 10 days ago, S@H wouldn't update, stats are totally flat, and all of its downloads are computation errors.
This just popped up:

"SETI@home: Notice from server
Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of SETI@home v8"

Einstein won't update, either. Meanwhile, Milky Way and Asteroids are churning away happily. And notice that Einstein stats don't show up in my signature brag

I am on the verge of joining the 20-year club, so I'd like to keep running SETI.

Ideas?

Thanks

If this is your brand-new host 8819324, the error messages in your failed tasks suggest either missing libraries or a mal-formed Anonymous Platform application.

I suspect the latter: the easiest way to check would be to remove the app_info.xml file, reset the project, and run as a test with the stock apps issued from the server. If they work, the problem lies in your private build app or its deployment.

You should also check the startup messages in your Event Log.

I just found this new tool for checking validity and syntax of XML files. Why don't you copy and paste your app_info.xml into the test page on this web site and see if any errors are detected.

Thanks, I deleted xml and uninstalled/reinstalls and it's churning away again.
