seeing i seen some old info form well over 6 years ago. You create an "app_config.xml" file in the project folder. And set the number of gpu tasks to something like 0.5 for two tasks on a gpu card or 0.33 if you want to run 3 tasks. You need a fairly high end video card to do this. I don't think anyone who is running much less than a gtx 1070/1080 under Windows would gain any total production. If you are running Linux/Special Sauce aka: Tbar's All in One, it already uses the entire video card as hard as it can so running more than 1 gpu task will just slow it down. You can always run it for awhile and check. I am even running 2 GPU tasks on my Vega 8 GPU (Ryzen 3 2200G). I think it runs faster but tbh I haven't had a chance to really look at the nitty gritty. Seti@home classic: 1,456 results, 1.613 years CPU time |
