No, I said all I can say under the circumstances. Just keep an eye on the News forum. Now. I hope it is about SETI shutting down the crunching part of the project, for an extended time, or forever. Sten, you totally nailed it. I usually find the most unpleasant answer is the correct one as well. :^) |

I guess I can stop planning the new PC I was going to order. I can use my current rig to crunch peanuts now. |

Can`t report any work, do they already unplug the servers? |

Can`t report any work, do they already unplug the servers? No... There's already a system-wide slowdown... Likely due to the credit hounds gobbling up all the remaining available WUs! Can`t report any work, do they already unplug the servers? Can't really do that when the servers aren't sending out any work now can ya? The current problem is something else. Maybe making system tweaks to prepare for tomorrow's outage? maybe making some other tweaks to prepare for D-Day? (Mar 31). We can only speculate. Let them run - SETI isn't closing its doors until the end of the month. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Looks like I picked the right time to come off my 13 year hiatus before this came to an end. |

Well, I won't reach my goal of 50 million credit, before it's over. I imagine there will be some cleanup work to do unless they are going to do this all in house. Either way I hope I get credit for our pending work. If I don't that is also ok |

Well, I won't reach my goal of 50 million credit, before it's over. Switch your GTX 980 system to LINUX and you'll make it no problem :D Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours |

No, everything is running normally for me. Thanks. Think I've got a borked machine here. Guess I won't waste time trying to fix it here, it runs Einstein fine ... Weird error, though. |

Not over yet is right! My latest tasks have a deadline of 6/1/2020. |

Not over yet is right! My latest tasks have a deadline of 6/1/2020.I have those too but they are not the latest tasks. They are instead spread all over the place in the fifo order between tasks of much shorter deadlines. |
