On behalf of the rest of the SETI@Home world, thank you for your efforts, you've done a magnificent service to the vast majority of Setizens. What many Setizens may not realise is that quite a number of the "stock" applications started life as optimised (anonymous) applications.

I expect that many of the techniques you have come up with are of much wider application than just SETI, so, once you've recovered I look forward to seeing your names pop up on other projects and pushing their applications to new boundaries.

Thanks again Guys & Gals

Yep, your efforts have been greatly appreciated.

And Richard's work for the Lunatics installer & Tbar's all in one for Linux to make things easier for the rest of use to actually be able to make use of those improved applications.

It's true, there are some paradigms learned that could be applied to other apps... but what could be as inspiring as SETI?....
Personally I hope we all recover after hibernation to new SETI apps and approaches.

We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them.

Let me add my thanks to the "Lunatics"...
Raistmer, Richard, T-Bar, et al (too many for my fading memory to recall) have contributed as much to the project as the Berkeley crew.
It's been a fun ride, but now maybe we can all now pause and take a breath.
