On behalf of the rest of the SETI@Home world, thank you for your efforts, you've done a magnificent service to the vast majority of Setizens. What many Setizens may not realise is that quite a number of the "stock" applications started life as optimised (anonymous) applications. I expect that many of the techniques you have come up with are of much wider application than just SETI, so, once you've recovered I look forward to seeing your names pop up on other projects and pushing their applications to new boundaries. Thanks again Guys & Gals Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Yep, your efforts have been greatly appreciated. And Richard's work for the Lunatics installer & Tbar's all in one for Linux to make things easier for the rest of use to actually be able to make use of those improved applications. Grant Darwin NT |

It's true, there are some paradigms learned that could be applied to other apps... but what could be as inspiring as SETI?.... Personally I hope we all recover after hibernation to new SETI apps and approaches. SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

Let me add my thanks to the "Lunatics"... Raistmer, Richard, T-Bar, et al (too many for my fading memory to recall) have contributed as much to the project as the Berkeley crew. It's been a fun ride, but now maybe we can all now pause and take a breath. T.A, |
