I grew up in Bristol (UK) and David Browse was a familiar face to me as he was the Green Cross Code man and regularly attended my Scout group and would open the school fetes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xR7_Bz9fIPA It was some time before someone told me he was also Darth Vader, so unlike most of you, that isn't how I remember him. RIP David and thank you for being there in my childhood years. "Always use the Green Cross Code, because I won't be there when you cross the road!" |
