Well it doesn't look like I'll get any help downstairs from the solar heating system so I've got Robbie the Robot fired up and roaring already so that I can get back to work, as I won't be doing anything other than split a few more rounds later on outside today.

No rain is expected, but it looks threatening, and just 12C is all we're suppose to get to today while currently it's 7C (feels like 4C).

I've been going outside to split some rounds while waiting for my last 4 tomahawk heads to cool down (as I turn them into razor blades) and everytime I go out a fine misty drizzle wants to fall.

I've also got to get as much as I can split done by tomorrow arvo as a few days of rain is again in the forecast.

Now I'm going to enjoy a couple of beers while I wet stone those heads right up to a fine edge down by the fire. ;-)

Well I've got kindling splitter v1.1 all ready for its 1st hit with the stick welder now and it's good that those blades are contained in a safety frame as I don't think that a person would survive falling on them.

I gave up splitting rounds on after my 3rd session outside as each time I went out there the drizzle started and it got heavier each time, but I did make a good dent in the pile. Then I decided to smash out another pile of kindling.

Anyhow it's now time for some dinner, fish'n'chips is on the menu tonight (w/ vinegar & onion salt). ;-)

The temp here is now up to 11C (feels like 9C), 13C is expected, as I take a short break from splitting rounds. I almost had them all done, but the old spine called for break or else (I needed to cool down anyway as I was breaking out in a sweat).

Once I get all that firewood inside I should be ok for the next 8 days of rain that's expected. ;-)

Well I got that pile of rounds done and stacked by the fireplace just in time for LLB.

Anyhow after all that swinging I think that I may have to take tomorrow off as I don't think that the old body will be up to too much (it's certainly feeling it now).
