Luckily many Texans have at least one H-E-B grocery store near by. [...]Boah... These firewalls are beginning to destroy what once defined the Internet. I have unsubscribed from Hungyroot. They sent ingredients, not prepared dishes. They didn't send anything saying what I'd ordered or how to prepare it. I was sorely disappointed. ~Sue~

I bought an indoor smart garden for veggies, basil and so on. Since we have no yard and i'm retired i thought i will try that. Has anyone experience with such things ? With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Can’t say about the smart garden. YouTube has a fair amount of videos. If you want a small herb planting. Try big oversized outdoor containers and put gardening soil in them. My dad has an around 0.9 hectares of land much of it just growing grass.

I have two glass troughs on my kitchen window ledge inside. That forms a natural 'greenhouse' behind the blind: Just add compost/soil, a selection of seeds, rainwater (to avoid the tap water chemicals salting out), and enjoy your own forever growing selection of fresh herbs... Easy! ... Also enjoy the beautiful fresh smell from the greenery, especially when freshly cut for your plate!! Enjoy! That sounds even better than stepping out of my back door into a sage bush (left) and a rosemary bush (right). I'm not sure what pollinators are around just now, but the rosemary is covered in fresh flowers (and the sparrows are enjoying themselves stripping the more accessible flower heads) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

It is just click and grow. It does state that in the instructions but results will vary. Imho I would check about once a week depending on water usage and evaporation. And if needed clean the water tank and add any needed plant chemicals.
