We had some hot days here (~32C/90F). Tomorrow will be a rainy day and we will get another not so hot week (max 20..25C / 68..77F).

Well it looks like I'll be in for another wasted day as a sunny 14C day with a gentle breeze is expected which would be great to do a bit of gardening and metalwork, but with this hand ATM all I'll be doing is reading and streaming instead. :-(

Anyhow it must be time for a 2nd coffee.

Cheers.

The only eggs that I do in a microwave are scrambled and 4 of them takes 2mins to do.

Anyhow the mercury reached 14C (felt like 10C) here today.

Cheers.

I finally got through today with no leakage problems with the hand, but I will go through 1 more 2 day dressing before I remove those butterfly sutures just to be on the safe side.

Anyhow it's time to watch the inside of my eyelids.

Cheers.

61F on the way to the mid 70s. the streak of 80+ weather ended yesterday. The previous record was 14 days the new one is 16. AC was not used yesterday and likely won't be used in the foreseeable future,
I will have some scranbled eggs cooked in the micowave,

I‘m sitting in a garden at the banks of Elbe river in the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains southeast of Dresden (Saxony). I enjoy a dark Czech beer. Hotel staff and chef are Czech anyway, so the food is delicious too.

I supervise the kids in the playground and watch the many trains on the opposite river bank. The Elbe Valley Railway is an international route to the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary with freight trains every 5 minutes, the hourly long-distance trains from/to CZ, HU and AT and the Dresden metro trains („S-Bahn“) every 30 minutes. Watching trains is a very relaxing activity.

Winning on a frosty Tuesday morning, but at least my normal overseas news programs are back where that belong now that those lycra bandits have finished screwing things up.

Anyhow it's time to turn the kettle on.

Cheers.

Updated the firmware on my Vizio tv. I wasn’t expecting much and got a couple unexpected changes. The first was a better way to change the signal source. I was holding a grudge against Walmart and Vizio for a while about my tv purchase. Just after I bought it. The price for the better model Vizio tv dropped into a range I could afford. It had Bluetooth. At the time I didn’t know it was a secret hidden option on mine. No mention of it anywhere in the menu or factory settings. Now I have updated the firmware. It is suddenly a option. Wish I knew it was Bluetooth capable a long time back. Now it has been unlocked, activated and tested with a Bluetooth speaker I have. Now I have to save up for Bluetooth headphones so I can blast the volume in my flat at 3:00am and not wake up the neighbors.

Have you done a firmware update on your Vizio tv Victor? I have had two so far. Both done over the hotspot on my iPhone. It is easy to do. It might help your Bluetooth problem.

With all this talk about TVs I might have to get one again. I have been without TV for about 5 years. I stream on my laptop.
Warm week continues. It's 5 am and it only dropped to 74f overnight. A high of 97f is expected.

Okay Victor. A simple “I’m not ready to do that yet.” would have been enough.

Carlos. A tv can be a nice monitor screen for your computer. I use my 50 inch Vizio to mirror my iPhones screen. I have a lightening to hdmi adapter. Streaming is outstanding on my 50 inch tv or 130 inch video projector. Reading documents is less stressful when it’s not on a 4 point something inch iPhone screen.

The temp here is really on the move with it now at 9C (feels like 7C).

Anyhow I glad to report that this morning I can actually close my fist without the skin wanting to tear apart, but I'm still not going to put it under any real pressure as yet (just in case). So the pruning that I should've had done will remain undone for a while longer.

It must be about time to get that 3rd coffee in for the morning (yes I've been pacing myself of late).

Cheers.

I use dual 33-inch monitors. When I plug in the laptop then I have 3 monitors. I would have to sit too far back from a 50" TV.

I'm just happy to have a 27" plugged into my laptop for streaming.

My 42" TV came with a dud HDMI port which at the time was likely why I got it at a third of the price off of the floor.

There's no "Smart" anything here except for me. ;-)

Anyhow after a LLB it's time for a feed.

Cheers.
