You have little PooTin, Pooh Xi, little well overfed little Kim, Adolf Benji along with several others don't like the truth so they have to have control of their national press because they don't want their people to know what's really going on and little "Hindu only" Modi is quickly climbing the ladder in that list of morons.

YouTube blocks ABC Four Corners investigation into India's 'nest of spies' targeting Australian critics after Indian government's demand.

A Four Corners investigation into how Indian authorities have established a "nest of spies" to silence critics in Australia has been blocked from access in India by YouTube after an order from the Modi government.

The story, uploaded to the video platform on June 17, has since been geo-blocked following an order by India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).

ABC news director Justin Stevens said the ABC "fully backs and stands by this reporting".

In a notice to the ABC, YouTube's legal team said the order was "confidential" but came under India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules and its Information Technology Act.

On July 22, YouTube advised that the matter was still being discussed by its leadership.

The ABC was given the option to block the video from being played in India itself, but declined this option.

The video was blocked in India by YouTube as of 11.59 AEST on July 27..........
Just like those others mentioned little Modi has his assassins and death squads , but doesn't want that fact known back at home.

Why do they hate the free press?

Because they have not yet developed the advanced western methods of using party assets to buy significant shares in press publishers. Or they have not yet figured out how to place the right people on the independent supervisory boards of public broadcasting corporations who push for more government-friendly reporting and less opposition critique. That is why dictators hate the free press. They are too impetuous, too demanding, instead of simply enduring appropriate criticism and then develop a multi-decades plan to establish a considerate, pleasant media landscape, cultivating personal relationships with key journalists, priorize the less critical over the more critical when it comes to deciding on delegations for overseas official state visits; help journalists with contacts (or money) for their book projects or expensive travel for impressive documentaries; occasionally providing them exclusive insider information to push their career. Dictators simply do not think in the long term, beyond their own reign. Modern day democrats are far superior to them in this regard.

„Nennen Sie mir ein Land, in dem Journalisten und Politiker sich vertragen und ich sage Ihnen, da ist keine Demokratie.“
(Name me a country where journalists and politicians get along and I tell you, that is not a democracy.), Sir Hugh Carleton Greene KCMG OBE

Greene studied in Marburg (Hesse) in 1928, was correspondend of London newspapers in Berlin and Munich from 1933 on, expelled from Germany by Goebbels in 1939; Chief Controller of Public Broadcasting for the British occupation zone from 1946, BBC's Director-General 1960-1969.

It was a couple of influential and sincere people like Hugh Greene who established and formed the independent public broadcasting in postwar Western Germany. We start to forget the jounalistic principles of those who personally fought facist and communist propaganda and its endless lies with a simple weapon: The truth. In the 21th century there's a strive to pacify the public political discussion, to avoid political controversies, to hide uncomfortable truths, to reject discussion on opinions that divert from the established and 'comfortable' main stream.

Dictators hate and ban the free press. Today's democrats have just as much trouble tolerating a critical free press; they do everything they can to soften it, make it toothless, and ultimately make it submissive.
